Description

Peter van den Borne, 'Droste Chocolate', 2017. Oil on panel, 58 x 58 cm including frame, 36 x 36 cm excluding frame, Collection Dumay. Unique still life with an image of the recognizable Droste's Cacao tin from the firm Droste B.V. Vaassen, a Dutch chocolate producer from Haarlem, founded in 1890. In the foreground a number of colored bonbons. Signed lower right. Peter was taught by Vrielink, Jacobi and Dillen. Paint manufacturer Johan Stahlecker taught him how to prepare surfaces, mediums, paint and impasto. Armed with this knowledge and an eye for all movements and forms of contemporary art, Peter continues his artistic path. In addition to painting, Peter has a great interest in the awareness process that takes shape in a creative way in his life and work. He has his own painting school where he teaches contemporary realism. The basis for his work is the universal idea that everything comes from the need to be connected. His works do not cry out but touch you by the peace and tranquility. Condition: The work is in perfect condition and comes straight from the artist's studio. This work comes with a certificate of authenticity.Openen in Google Translate Feedback
