Description
Van der Pol was born in 1896 in The Hague and died in 1982 in Abcoude. He studied at the Academy of Visual Arts in The Hague. Van der Pol painted with a loose hand and combined an impressionistic style with a "cheeky" brushwork. From 1930 Van der Pol mainly worked as an artist in Paris.
