Frans Langeveld (1876 –1939), covered wagon on the Amsterdam canal, oil on canvas booten size: 65 x 85 cm, inner sizes: 40 x 60 cmth born Amsterdammer Frans Langeveld studied chemistry before fully focused on painting. He attended lessons at the National Normal School in the capital and was then a student of G.W. Dijsselhof. He initially painted landscapes, many Amsterdam cityscapes and interiors.
