Miraggio iridato, glass, 35 x 30 x 8 x cm, the recurring motif in the oeuvre of Luigi Benzoni is the human face. He experiments with its appearance and investigates it using the various disciplines in which he works - sculpting, painting, graphics and drawing. Benzoni studied architecture and art history in Venice, where he has been living and working since 1976, and became under the spell of glass art there. Exhibitions of Benzoni's work took place in Museum Het Paleis (The Hague), Mostly Glass Gallery (New York), Röhsska Museet (Gothenburg) and Palazzo Delle Prigioni Nuove (Venice)., Condition: The work offered is in good condition.
