Syvert Nicolaas Bastert (Maarsseveen, 7 January 1854 - Loenen aan de Vecht, April 18, 1939)
Bastert was a Dutch painter, best known for his faces along the river Vecht. He is counted among the 'after flowering' of the Hague School.
Size work: 34 x 25 cm
Provenance: from a private collection. Originally comes from Kunsthandel Wisselingh & Co on the Rokin in Amsterdam (see picture).
