Adrianus Marinus Geyp ( 1855 Middelburg - 1926 The Hague)
Geyp initially was a house painter in Middelburg, who was a artist in his spare time. Later in his life he developed into a professional art painter after taking drawing lessons at the Drawing Academy in Middelburg. He moved with his wife Margaretha Jenneke Krauz and two children to The Hague around 1880. His studio was located on the Hekkelaan. He continued to live there in The Hague for the rest of his life.
