Painter of townscapes, still lifes, figure pieces and portraits in impressionist style. Jan Korthals was educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and the Gerrit Rietveldacademie in Amsterdam. He was also taught by M.H. Mackenzie, among others. Jan Korthals lived and worked much of his life in Amsterdam, where he was a member of the St. Lucas artists' society.

Viewing is of course possible. We also have our own in-house frame shop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary year. We also make use of restorers from the sector organisation 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of them, please let us know.
