Nuijen and from 1839 or Andries Schelfhout. Especial this had a lot of influence on his work. He painted Beautiful Dutch Ice Scenes, Summer Landscapes and River Views, in which he incorporated all kinds of Motifs from his sketchbooks. After 1859 hey also Painted Beach Scenes and CityScapes. The Attractiveness of His Paintings is determined, Among Other Things, by the Beautiful Light and Strongly Narrative Details.
