Description

The Panton Chair is a true design classic. The chair was designed in 1960 by Verner Panton and further developed for serial production in 1967 in collaboration with Vitra. It was the first cantilever chair made entirely from a single piece of plastic. Since its market introduction, the Panton Chair has gone through several production phases. Only since 1999 was it possible to manufacture the chair according to the original design: made of durable, through-dyed plastic with a matt-gloss finish.

The comfort of this chair is due to the self-supporting construction of light flexible material and the characteristic shape, which is reminiscent of a human being. The chair can be used individually or in groups and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The Panton Chair has won numerous international design awards and is part of the collection of many prominent museums. Its expressive form has made it an icon of the twentieth century.

Polypropylene colored through and through, 100% recyclable
Matt finish
Suitable for outdoors

Note: Special additives prevent color fading from UV light. However, if the chair is exposed to sunlight for a long time, the color may change over time. Prolonged exposure to the sun is therefore not recommended.
