Description

Leo Grijseels (1884-1966) was a Dutch painter, known for his views of The Hague in the style of the Hague School. He often worked under various pseudonyms, including T. de Koning and T. Bresslev.

His paintings frequently depict street scenes of The Hague and Scheveningen, with a focus on the atmosphere following rainy days. Grijseels used impressionistic techniques to capture reflections on wet streets and the illumination of street lamps.

His works can be found in various galleries and collections worldwide, including in the Netherlands, England, Germany, Belgium, France, and Scandinavia.
