Frans Smeers (Brussels, January 28, 1873 – Brussels, June 1, 1960) was a Belgian painter.
A beautiful flower still life in a Westerwald jar, but what makes the work more spectacular is that Smeers also painted the back of the panel.
Work dimensions: 35 x 43 cm
Provenance: The work comes from a Dutch private collection
The work can be viewed in our gallery. Art Dumay also has a framing workshop (this year their 85th anniversary) and a restoration workshop. So if you want to make use of this, we would of course like to hear from you.
