Paul (Pol) Louis Carel Dom (Antwerp, July 4, 1885 - The Hague, 28 February 1978) was a versatile Belgian artist. In 1936 he acquired Dutch nationality. After his studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Dom went to the Schildersdorp Laren in the Netherlands in 1909. They eventually settled in The Hague. He was a member of Pulchri Studio and the Hague Kunstkring and exhibited frequently. In addition, his work could be seen at exhibitions in Amsterdam (St. Lucas), the World Exhibitions of Paris (1937) and New York (1939) and further in Barcelona, ??Venice, Toronto (1940) and Buenos Aires. Dom was inspired by a variety of materials and subjects. In addition to being a painter, he was above all a draftsman and graphic artist.
