Review Enfants jouant sur la plage
Description
Roméo Dumoulin | Tournai (Belgium) 1883-1944 Brussels
Dumoulin belonged to the group of Belgian painters, all from Brussels, who were strongly influenced by Luminism in the period 1900-1920. He painted powerfully brushed, bright outdoor scenes in an Impressionist style, in which light played an important role. He became particularly well known for his paintings of the turbulent working-class neighborhoods of Brussels, beach scenes of fashionable seaside resorts and charming garden scenes.
