Description
David Schulman (1881–1966) was a Dutch painter known for his impressionistic cityscapes and winter landscapes. He was a member of the Pulchri Studio and the Gooise Schildersvereniging. Schulman lived and worked mainly in Laren, drawing inspiration from the local landscape and village life. His work is characterized by atmospheric lighting and a loose brushstroke technique.
