This beautiful work by Mesdag has served as a preliminary study in the run-up to Panorama Mesdag. Mesdag made paintings of various places in the dunes that could serve as a point of view for the panoramic view. A unique piece and beautiful composition for the true Mesdag and Haagse School collector.
