Description
Harry Storms (August 11, 1945 – March 28, 2023) was a Dutch sculptor and graphic artist. He was born in Tegelen and passed away in Helmond.
Storms initially trained as a teacher at a pedagogical academy and started his career as a handicraft teacher. Later, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he was taught by Jerzy Jarnuszkiewicz.
In 1975, he debuted as a visual artist with an exhibition of his bronze sculptures in Sittard. This was followed by exhibitions both in the Netherlands and abroad. He also opened a gallery and sculpture garden, De Procure, in Sterksel.
